Belinda is currently pro Vice-Chancellor Learning, Teaching and Quality at the University of Southern Queensland. She has held senior leadership academic positions in Singapore and Australia and has worked in Scotland, the UK and Japan. Belinda has combined her organizational focus and research producing numerous ERA recognized publications and has presented frequently as a participant and keynote at conferences nationally and internationally. Her research and publications cover areas such as distance education, online learning and academic staff development. Over the years she has achieved significant competitive grant funding. Her current responsibilities include the leadership and management of core areas of digital media services, creative media services, learning resources development and learning and teaching support. She is an active member of the Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia, a regular reviewer for the British Journal of Educational Technology and an advocate for open and distance learning.
