Prof. Hamdy was the preious Vice-Chancellor of Medical & Health Sciences Colleges at the University of Sharjah, U.A.E; Professor of Surgery & Medical Education at the College of Medicine; Consultant Medical Education for WHO and member of the Editorial Board of The Journal of Medical Education.
He has served as Dean of College of Medicine and Medical Sciences at the Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain prior to his current appointment.
He is an international authority on medical education with vast experience in all its fields.
