Dr. Mubarak Alkhatnai is a professor of applied linguistics and translation at King Saud University. He currently works as the Dean of Development and Quality at the same university. He has worked as an academic staff, researcher, editorial board member, quality assessor and trainer and had many leading roles within and outside of KSU. He published many papers and translated books on different topics including quality and accreditation. He presented in many events concerning topics related to quality assurance, university ranking, and institutional excellence. On a personal level, he is a certified KSU-QMS, NCAAA, ISO, Six Sigma assessor and auditor. He is a member of many quality organizations and leads many auditing teams both within and outside of Saudi Arabia.
