Dr. Shakib Farhat, a seasoned educator and administrator, brings a wealth of expertise in higher education and consulting to his role. He earned his PhD and MSc in Electrical Engineering & Electronics from the University of Manchester, UK. Dr. Farhat assumed the position of Dean of Student Affairs and Associate Professor in the College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University in 2022.
Prior to his current role, he served as the Executive Director for Academic and Student Affairs at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and held the position of Executive Dean of Engineering Technology and Science at the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. Beyond his extensive leadership roles, Dr. Farhat has contributed to academia as an Associate Professor and published research. His teaching experience spans across the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.
