Mr. Nodirbek Ergashev

Dr. Nodir Ergashev is the First Deputy Director of the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education (NQAAE) under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. With more than 15 years of leadership experience in education policy, governance, and quality assurance, he has played a pivotal role in shaping national education reforms and strengthening institutional quality across Uzbekistan’s education system.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Ergashev has held senior leadership positions across three national education institutions, including the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary
Specialized Education, and NQAAE. He has led strategic initiatives in education governance, quality assurance, institutional development, and public sector modernization, contributing to the implementation of evidence-based policies that support sustainable improvement across the sector.

Holding a PhD in Education Management, Dr. Ergashev combines academic expertise with extensive executive experience in policy development, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. His work focuses on strengthening quality assurance systems, promoting institutional excellence, and aligning Uzbekistan’s education system with international standards and best practices.

Fluent in four languages—Uzbek, English, Russian, and Turkish—Dr. Ergashev actively represents Uzbekistan in international education initiatives and collaborates with global organizations, accreditation agencies, and development partners to advance innovation, internationalization, and quality enhancement in education.
