Sally joined PwC\’s Middle East advisory practice in early 2007. Prior to PwC, Sally worked for over 15 years as a strategy consultant with a Big Four Firm, and has worked extensively across the US, Europe and the Middle East.
Sally focuses mainly on strategic planning, market analysis, performance management, governance and operational model re-design, as well as sector regulatory reform. She leads PwC’s education and skills team based in the UAE and works with both public and private institutions, addressing pre-K, primary, secondary education, higher education and skills. Sally has a personal interest in medical education and the topic of research and innovation, and has contributed towards various PwC thought pieces on the subject.
Her vast knowledge in the Education system has driven the development of solutions in the region to multiple stakeholders including MoHE in Oman, Ministry of Education in Kuwait, University of Sharjah, Bahrain Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Education in the UAE, Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE University and the KSA Ministry of Education and leading KSA institutions.
Recent developments in the demand for new sectors across the GCC have led to projects addressing skill gaps in a diverse range of disciplines including: the arts, music, sports, tourism and hospitality and defence and security education and training. The practice offers accreditation and international partnering advisory services through leveraging PwC’s 3,200 plus clients in education world-wide.
Sally has been a speaker and moderator at numerous local and global conferences on the challenges facing developing education system, skills gap affecting companies today. She has delivered messages in South Africa, Russia, Australia, USA and other countries in the ME.
Sally has a BA in Business Administration from Loughborough University of Technology in the UK, an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and an MSc in Applied Psychology from the University of Liverpool (online).
