Prof. Mohammed Hussein Ahmed

Dr. Mohammed Hussein Ahmed is an academic leader and policy expert in higher education, quality assurance, and transnational education (TNE). He currently serves as the Head of the Apparatus of Supervision and Quality Assurance in the higher education sector and is the CEO of VisionAID, where he works to strengthen educational governance, institutional standards, and innovation across the region.

With extensive experience in higher education reform, TVET development, and international collaboration, Dr. Ahmed actively contributes to national and global dialogues on education policy, digital transformation, and employability. He has participated in numerous international panels and strategic initiatives, particularly those focused on green and digital TVET, micro-credentials, and aligning education with labor market needs.

Dr. Ahmed is also a strong advocate for language policy, inclusive education, and sustainable academic ecosystems that connect academia, civil society, and international partners. His work emphasizes evidence-based policy, quality frameworks, and transnational partnerships that enhance institutional capacity and global engagement.

Through his leadership, research interests, and policy contributions, Dr. Ahmed continues to promote innovation, internationalization, and quality-driven education systems that support lifelong learning and socio-economic development.
