Prof. Dr. Olgun ÇİÇEK

Dr. Olgun ÇİÇEK is a distinguished leader in the global higher education landscape, with over three decades of impactful contributions to quality assurance and institutional development worldwide. He currently serves as an elected Board Director of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and holds prominent leadership roles as the Past Vice President of CEENQA (Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education) and President of IQA (Association of Quality Assurance Agencies of the Islamic World).

Recognized internationally for his expertise, he has been a member of the CHEA-CIQG International Advisory Council in the United States since 2022. He is also a long-standing Accreditation Committee Member at the British Accreditation Council (BAC) in the UK (since 2020), and an elected Member of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) at the Malta Quality Assurance Agency.

In addition, he serves as an International Advisor for THEQC, a Senior Advisor to E-Quadrat Science & Education, and a Member of the International Strategic Partners Council under the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Kazakhstan.

His influence spans across continents—serving as an Advisory Board Member, Panel Chair, Reviewer, and Evaluator for numerous institutional and program-level accreditation bodies throughout North America, Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Far East. His work continues to shape quality standards and foster academic excellence on a global scale.
