Prof. Ahmed Elseragy

Professor Ahmed Elseragy is Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Employability), and Dean of the Faculty of Art & Design at The British University in Egypt. He has over 25 years of experience within the Higher Education sector and is renowned for his exceptional academic leadership and professional background both in the UK and the Middle East. His current institution’s role includes employability, graduates’ outcome, and industry engagement.

Professor Elseragy holds a Ph.D. degree in the Built Environment (University of Nottingham – UK) and is an active member of several international professional bodies. Ahmed is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Professor Elseragy held various senior management roles including Dean of International Affairs and Networks and Head of School both in the UK and Egypt. Ahmed is also an Internationalisation consultant for AdvanceHE (previously the Higher Education Academy in the UK). Ahmed was the Head of School of Engineering at the University of Lincoln in the UK between 2021-2022. As Director of Enterprise at the University of Lincoln, Ahmed has led on industry outreach and engagement activities within the School of Engineering and College of Science to develop a sustainable relationship with Enterprise and industry. Ahmed’s role included knowledge exchange, industry engagement, employability, developing strategic industry links, income diversification and Internationalisation within the engineering school at the University of Lincoln – UK

Previously in the UK, Ahmed has led and engaged with a very large external network of industry and manufacturing partners in both Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire to support the manufacturing and engineering sector in Greater Lincolnshire.
