Welcoming Message

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dear Forum Participants!

On behalf of the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS) and our Forum Technical Committee, I am delighted to welcome our  distinguishes speakers, participants and partners to a new edition of the MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum.

As we continue our attempt to adapt to the ongoing new disruptions caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the political, social and economic aspects of our lives; it is time for us to come together and discuss how the higher education sector being one of the key pillars of society is adjusting and responding to these changes and have an open conversation on what universities of the future should look like.  There is no doubt that the 4th Industrial Revolution has been affecting the higher education landscape globally and will continue influencing it by providing many exciting opportunities to widen access, provide flexibility, promote internalization, reduce cost and help students become lifelong learners; yet there are many associated challenges we must be aware of and ready to address.  We envisage the 4th MENA -HELF (2020) to serve as a platform for the higher education community from across the globe to discuss and explore the impact of the 4th industry revolution on higher education.

Our technical program will as in previous editions be rich and varied and will comprise various contributions including: invited talks by eminent speakers, two pre-conference workshops, 3 interactive panel discussions, papers and poster presentations and corporate showcases and exhibitions in additional to plenty of formal and informal networking opportunities.

I would also like to take this opportunity to invite colleagues from across the globe to contribute to the Forum through presenting case studies and good practices of relevance to this year’s theme.

Finally, as a conference chair I would like to thank in advance all those who will be working with us during the coming few months on planning and putting together a rich conference.

Looking forward to seeing you in Dubai at the 2020 MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum!

Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou
