Dr. Said Saleem Al-Kittani

Dr. Al-Kitani has Earned his first degree from SQU, Oman, in education, his master’s degree and PhD from Nottingham University in educational Management and education policy, in addition to another master’s degree in management and entrepreneurship from Cranfield University, UK. Currently, he is Associate Dean for Community Engagement, MCBS. His work experience includes Associate Dean for Arabic Programs & MCBS, Executive Director for Quality & Institutional Performance at Muscat University, Muscat University Project Manager, Oman’s Acting Permanent Delegate to UNESCO. Dr Al-Kittani served also as Education Consultant in the Gulf Region, member of the Executive Board, the Arab League Education, Culture and Science Organization (ALECSO), Secretary of The Omani National Commission for Education, Culture Science and Head of Technical Office for Planning and Studies at the Ministry of Education, Muscat. In addition to working with UNESCO, Dr. Al-Kittani’s expertise includes working with other regional and international organizations such as UNICEF, ALECSO, IBE, and ABEGS. In 2024, Dr. Al Kittani was awarded the TAS Icon of Leadership as one of top ten trailblazers shaping Oman’s future for dedicating his life for the betterment of education in Oman and abroad.
