Dr. Savic is a passionate student-centered higher education leader with extensive experience driving strategic transformations across academic, applied, and vocational sectors. His expertise encompasses framework development, capacity building, institutional management, strategic foresight, internationalization, curricular reform, and quality assurance. He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture & Urban Planning from the University of Belgrade and has led initiatives across diverse education systems.
Dr. Savic has held prominent leadership positions, including Vocational Institute Director, Provost, Associate Vice President, Associate Dean of Academic & Student Affairs (CAO), and Quality Assurance Director. In these roles, he has overseen transformational projects that improved institutional effectiveness, accreditation processes, and student learning outcomes. He is a seasoned change agent with a talent for navigating complex challenges and fostering innovative solutions.
His involvement in high-profile committees and organizations reflects his standing as a global expert. Dr. Savic has served as an expert for the National Qualification Authority (UAE), and as a member of the TVET Enhancement Committee (Ministry of Education,UAE), and the national Higher Education Reform Expert (HERE) team (Ministry of Higher education, Serbia). Additionally, he has contributed to European Commission projects as a TEMPUS program coordinator and evaluator and as an expert in various international and regional capacity building initiatives.
