Dr. Hashim Al Zaabi is a seasoned academician, leading the only higher education institution in the offering Maritime Education at degree level. Dr. Hashim brings over three decades of experience working in leading institutions in the UAE. He has served as the Executive Dean of Military and Security at the Higher Colleges of Technology, Executive Director of HCT Dubai and Western Region Campuses, National Qualifications Centre of Ministry of Education and several other institutions. Dr. Hashim took over the role of the Chancellor of SMA in September 2022 and led this transformation journey in a record timeframe.
