Dr. Arshad Jamal is a highly accomplished academic leader and researcher with over 25 years of experience driving excellence in higher education. As the Dean of Academic Affairs at QFBA-Northumbria University, he provides strategic leadership in portfolio development, quality assurance, and research, ensuring alignment with international standards and Qatar’s National Vision. An expert in digital innovation, business analytics, and higher education management, Dr. Jamal has a proven track record of fostering research cultures, launching strategic academic programs, and leading successful accreditation initiatives with bodies such as AACSB, CIPS, FIBAA and the British Computer Society (BCS). He currently also serves as an Academic Accreditation Reviewer for the Qatar National Committee for Qualifications and Academic Accreditation (NCQAA).
