Dr. Ahmed Nawaz Hakro is a seasoned academician, higher education leader, Professor of Economics, and an Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at Middle East College, Muscat, and Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Hakro has over 34 years of teaching, research, and professional experience by working with academia, government, and international organizations. Dr. Hakro has a record of scholarly publications, attracting research grants, awards, books, and book chapter publications. Dr. Hakro has provided advisory services to governments, served on editorial committees of several journals, and supervised, mentored, and coached a number of his Students. Dr. Hakro has MS/MAS, Ph.D., and post-doctoral degrees. Dr. Hakro is a certified leader of the Chartered Management Institute (UK), a Principal Fellow of the UK’s Advance Higher Education Academy, a Regional Security fellow of RCSS, Sri Lanka, a peoples’ diplomacy and international law fellow of the University of South Wales, Australia, and a postdoctoral fellow of University of Glasgow, UK.
