Mr. Ahmad Solh serves as Assistant Vice President for Business Services at the Lebanese American University (LAU), a role he assumed in August 2024, overseeing procurement, auxiliary services, supply, and hospitality operations across the Beirut and Byblos campuses.
Mr. Solh brings more than 23 years of experience in business operations, digital transformation, and supply chain management, with a strong track record of optimizing complex organizations across Lebanon and the Arab Gulf.
Prior to joining LAU, he held dual executive roles at the American University of Beirut Medical Center as Head of Clinical Support Units and Head of Logistics and Supply Chain, where he led initiatives that improved operational performance and service delivery. He also spearheaded a major SAP‑enabled digital transformation that streamlined billing, automated supply chain processes, and strengthened financial controls.
Previously, Mr. Solh served as Chief Operating Officer at MEDICA, a Gulf Capital portfolio company based in Dubai, leading its institutionalization and regional expansion across the Gulf, Levant, and North Africa. Earlier in his career, he held senior executive roles at the Food and Drug Corporation and at Khalil Fattal & Fils. Mr. Solh holds a BS and MS in Computer Science and an EMBA from LAU, and completed executive education at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
