Dr. Dalia Bedewy is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Inclusive Learning at Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. With a strong academic and leadership background in higher education, she is committed to advancing student success, inclusion, wellbeing, and meaningful educational experiences.
Her international academic experience in the United States, including professional engagements with the University of Scranton, the University of South Florida, and Oklahoma State University, has enriched her perspective on higher education, research, and student support. This experience strengthened her commitment to evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student-centered and inclusive education.
As Director of the Center for Inclusive Learning, she leads initiatives that promote equitable access to higher education and provide students with diverse learning needs with academic accommodations, assistive technologies, and individualized support. Her work is grounded in the belief that inclusion is not simply about providing access, but about creating an environment in which every student can participate, belong, and thrive.
Her research interests span psychology, student wellbeing, academic stress, mental health, learning, inclusion, and the psychological and social factors influencing human behaviour. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals and collaborates with researchers across disciplines and countries.
