Ángela García González, MD, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer of Nutrition at Universidad San Pablo CEU (Madrid), where she has taught nutrition and public health since 2002. She holds a Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery, a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and a postgraduate qualification in Statistics for Health Sciences. She previously worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (Mexico).
Her academic interests focus on the sociology of food, sustainable diets, food literacy, and the cultural and socioeconomic determinants of eating habits. She has contributed to multiple research and educational initiatives, supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate projects, and is an Honorary Member of the Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her scientific impact includes an H index of 14 (Web of Science).
Dr. García González is strongly committed to teaching innovation and internationalization. She has actively participated in several COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes) projects, both as a facilitator of intercultural student groups and as a co organizer. Since 2013, she has served on the Education and Lifelong Learning Committee of the European Federation of Associations of Dietitians, contributing to the development of major European standards and competency frameworks in dietetics.
