Pedro Moura is the Strategic Partnerships Director for Coursera, where he oversees international collaborations with higher education institutions and government organisations, focusing on bridging the gap between education and employability through large-scale university and workforce development initiatives. He brings nearly two decades of experience across the publishing and education sectors, having worked throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Before joining Coursera, Pedro spent more than twelve years in the publishing industry, where he played a key role in leading Macmillan Education’s international digital division. A recipient of a Turing Scheme, he participated in research projects supported by the University of London, the Museo delle Civiltà, and the British School at Rome. He holds two master’s degrees from the University of London. Pedro is immensely proud to have begun his professional career as a teacher at Cultura Inglesa, one of the most prestigious English language institutions in Latin America, where he obtained a CELTA.
